Patricia Geis visits the Museum of Human Evolution (MHE)
What a thrill! Patricia Geis was recently invited to the Museum of Human Evolution (MHE), a truly captivating place to journey back to prehistoric times. Located near the world-renowned Atapuerca site, the MHE showcases over 200 original fossil remains and artifacts from five different hominid species. It’s a treasure trove of human history!
Beyond its impressive exhibits, the MHE offers a variety of educational programs, activities, and workshops for children and families. It’s a fantastic way to spark curiosity and learn about our ancient ancestors.
A journey into prehistory!
During her visit, Patricia gave a brief presentation on Earthlings: Prehistory and led a hands-on workshop titled “How Would You Make a Toy in Prehistoric Times?”
Children had the opportunity to sculpt figurines using clay and natural materials, inspired by prehistoric artifacts. It was a fun and creative way to connect with our past and the results were not long in coming!
Let the journey continue!
