With over a decade of experience in television, theatre, and film, she also works as a self-taught visual artist. Since 2016, she has combined her acting with painting, illustration, and publishing. Together with Rut Pedreño, she co-creates comic books for early readers, including Nicoleta y el misterio del colmillo, winner of the Best Children’s and Young Adult Comic at the 2022 Barcelona Comic Fair. Born in Valladolid in 1996, Rut Pedreño is an illustrator and comic artist with a BA in Fine Arts from Madrid. Her work covers a wide range of creative fields, including children’s books, animation, video games, murals, exhibitions, posters, editorial illustration, and zines. In 2021, her illustrations were selected for the XII Ibero-American Illustration Catalog, and in 2022, she was awarded Best Children’s and Young Adult Comic at the Barcelona Comic Fair for a title co-created with Katia Klein.
