Cristina holds a degree and doctorate in Biology from the University of Barcelona and a master’s degree in Science Communication from Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). She is the founder and director of the Science in Society Foundation. She has published several books and writes articles for La Vanguardia, Mètode, and Transversal. She is also editor-in-chief of the journal Omniscellula, published by the Catalan Society of Biology, an affiliate of the Institute for Catalan Studies. Furthermore, she has worked on several educational TV programs and is a member of the Catalan Association for Science Communication.

Cristina Losantos holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona. She currently works for numerous publishing companies in Spain and other European countries, and regularly collaborates with magazines such as Cavall Fort and El Tatano. In 1998, she won the 2nd National Illustration Prize from the Ministry of Culture, in 2017 she was awarded the Serra d'Or Prize, and in 2024 she received the Maria Rius Prize. Her books have been translated into more than 20 languages. She is the illustrator of the bestselling Victory series and the author of the I Spy with My Little Eye series.
