Rebeca Luciani

Rebeca was born in La Plata, Argentina, in 1976. She studied drawing and painting at the School of Fine Arts at the National University of La Plata. In 2000, she traveled to Barcelona, where she graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts. In recent years, she has combined illustration work and giving workshops with teaching illustration in Barcelona, São Paulo, Santiago, Chile, and Buenos Aires. In 2006, she was featured in the White Ravens list. In 2008, her work was shortlisted for the First International Compostela Prize. She was awarded the Premi Serra d’Or in 2011 and the Açorianos Prize for best book of the year in 2012.
