​Ticniks is Taking Off Around the World!

As many of us get ready for the summer holidays, we’re delighted to receive the latest international covers from our publishing partners ahead of their fall releases. Every new cover is a reminder of just how far the Ticniks have travelled in less than a year and we couldn’t be more excited to share them.

This September marks the first anniversary of the series, and what a year it’s been! In under twelve months, more than 50,000 copies have been sold across the Catalan and Spanish editions, while rights have been acquired in 11 languages, bringing Tina and her mischievous plush companions to young readers around the globe.

Created by the acclaimed Martí & Salomó duo especially for newly independent readers, Ticniks is a vibrant, highly illustrated series packed with comic-style storytelling, hilarious adventures and laugh-out-loud humour.

But what exactly are Ticniks? They’re no ordinary plush toys. Give them a hug, say the secret formula and remember the three rules. Break just one of them, and chaos is guaranteed for the next 24 hours. Luckily, everything returns to normal the following day… So far, readers have joined Tina on three unforgettable adventures: 

Ticniks 1: Dina, where a birthday gift from Grandma Henrietta introduces Tina to the world of the Ticniks

Ticniks 2: Topús, featuring a playful octopus whose antics turn the county fair upside down.

Ticniks 3: Vampi, a spooky adventure inspired by Nosferatu, where Tina, Grandma Henrietta and cousin Max spend the night in a mysterious castle and, of course, chaos soon follows.

Set course for the high seas!

The adventure is far from over. We’re already working on Ticniks 4: Katúa, where Tina and Grandma Henrietta embark on a brand-new adventure at sea. Together, they board a cruise heading north, but when Tina discovers that Damir is on board too, her curiosity gets the better of her. What is he hiding in his cabin? Could there be Ticniks on the ship?

As we celebrate the series’ first anniversary, we’re thrilled to see the Ticniks continue their journey into new languages and new markets.
